no one chooses to come here, tourists just pass through on their way to France.” I thought that was hilarious and he and I had several beers after that!ģ. He said “we’re the red headed step child of Europe. One local I met here, was shocked an American (me) chose Belgium over France or Germany. It’s not as famous as its neighboring counties, so things are cheaper here. Unlike some other European neighboring counties that get a reputation for not liking Americans, Belgium is welcoming to tourists.Ģ. I love Belgium mostly for the beer, but also because:ġ. There’s not much night life here, so if you’re a partier like me, you’ll be bored late-night.īelgium is every beer lovers paradise.
